ESG Report 2025

Sefar Group has published its first Sustainability Report.

“Enabling Sefar to Grow Responsibly”: Sefar Group has published its first Sustainability Report. The report provides the company’s first global ESG baseline, covering climate, people, and governance performance across the Group.

Sustainability has long been one of Sefar’s core values. With the publication of its Sustainability Report 2025, the Group is now making its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance measurable and transparent across all operations worldwide.

The report demonstrates how sustainability is being integrated into the OneSefar strategy and increasingly embedded in decision-making, governance, and day-to-day operations.

A comprehensive Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) formed the foundation of the report. Together with internal and external stakeholders, Sefar identified the topics that are most significant both to the company’s long-term success and to its impact on society and the environment. These priorities are grouped into three strategic focus areas: Planet, People, and Practices.

This first report demonstrates what we are capable of achieving as an organization. It is not only about the numbers, but also about the work behind them. People across all locations and functions contributed to this effort. This is our starting point, and I am excited about what we will be able to report next year.

Sustainability as a Business Advantage

Sustainability has become an increasingly important factor in customer decision-making. Across many of Sefar’s key markets, customers require reliable ESG data for supplier qualification, procurement decisions, and their own sustainability reporting.

The Sustainability Report provides a transparent and credible basis for these discussions. It helps reduce barriers in procurement processes, strengthens Sefar’s position in tenders, and reinforces the company’s commitment to being a trusted long-term partner.

Sefar is already working with customers to identify opportunities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and develop solutions that combine high performance with environmental benefits.

A Foundation for Future Progress

The 2025 report represents an important milestone, but it is also the beginning of a longer journey. The data collected during this first reporting cycle establishes the baseline for future targets, performance measurement, and continuous improvement.

Next steps include further development of ESG metrics, expansion of Scope 3 reporting, and the creation of a Net Zero roadmap.

With its first Sustainability Report, Sefar is providing a transparent view of where the company stands today while creating the foundation to measure and communicate future progress in a consistent and meaningful way.
